Christian Heritage Planning is a service of Frisse & Brewster Law Offices, LLC

~ What is Christian Heritage Planning?

Christian Heritage Planning is a service of Frisse & Brewster Law Offices that allows you to protect not only the people, assets and causes you love, but to do so in a way that reflects and proclaims the importance of your Christian beliefs. Testifying to your faith can be done regardless of whether you take advantage of our firm's Simple Will Service or our more comprehensive Family Heritage estate planning processes. Regardless of your level of wealth, your plan can serve as an example just as you hope and believe your life has.

~ Why should I use Christian Heritage Planning?

You want to feel good about meeting your planning obligations, but you might be reluctant to start a planning process because you find it depressing or intimidating. Our firm believes that estate planning shouldn't be uncomfortable or confusing. We believe that listening to you, taking it one step at a time and making the process easy to understand will produce a plan that reflects what's truly important to you spiritualy and materially. We can also unravel the complex, decision-making process to protect any family business interests as well.

~ What issues will my plan address?

Christian Heritage Planning will:
* Assure that you remain in control of everything entrusted to you for as
long as possible.
* Assure that family goals and purposes are met.
* Meet any tithing or charitable support commitments you have without
using money your loved ones would miss.
*Alllow your personal Christian mission to be carried on even after your
disability or death.
* Assure that the people you pick to be in charge of your care and assets
when you're unable to act will make decisions based on your wishes.
* Minimize estate and other taxes.
* Avoid unnecessary court involvement at disability and death (Probate)
* Assure that what you leave to those you love wouldn't be lost if they
suffer business or economic problems.

~ How can my estate plan reflect my Christian beliefs?

Our firm offers the opportunity for your plan to include documents expresssing your Christian faith, aimed at encouraging your family in the period after your death to love one another, be generous, and handle their loss as you would want them to. If you wish greater emphasis placed on your faith, we can help you explore opportunities to expand the impact the proper use of your assets can have on your church and its mission.

It's not about how much.
It's about what's important.

~ How does the process work?

First, you'll meet with one of our attorneys. We'll ask you to teach us about your family and concerns. Then we'll show you the planning choices you've made and how your goals can be met. We'll discuss our fees and payment schedule because we don't believe this should be a vague or uncomfortable part of working together.
The next time we get together will be a design meeting. We'll lead you through an organized conversation that actually creates the structure of your estate plan. With the information from this meeting, we begin drafting the Will and/or Trust, Powers of Attorney and other documents aimed at bringing your plan to life. And we'll show you ways to express your faith.
Lastly, at the signing meeting, we'll show you exactly how the concerns, issues and decisions that came up during the design meeting are dealt with in your planning documents.

~ What if I'm not ready for a comprehensive approach, but still want a plan?

Our firm offers the Simple Will Service, a quick, low cost approach to basic planning. We can enhance this approach by offering you several opportunities to express your beliefs and wishes for your church and family.

If you're still not sure, Frisse & Brewster Law Offices offers regular free seminars on estate planning and encourages you to attend one or more of these programs. You can move forward when you're ready.

We congratulate you for making the decision to protect what's important to you. Whatever level of planning you choose to consider, we look forward to assisting you and your family in preparing for your future.
