Paralegal - ILAP, Business & Transfer, and Trust Settlement Coordinator
Krista J. Krabel is a paralegal at the firm and is the coordinator for our clients’ asset transfers for both the Illinois and Indiana offices. She is also the Trust Settlement Coordinator for the Illinois office. She works alongside attorney Dave Frisse as the coordinator of business entity formation in relation to business succession planning and maintenance. She has been working in the legal field in estate and business planning for 10 years.
Krista earned her associate degree with a concentration in paralegal studies in 2008 from Everest University in Florida. She earned her bachelor’s degree in financial planning in 2011 from Colorado Technical University where she graduated Suma Cum Laude. Krista has also earned her Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in accounting from Colorado Technical University. She plans to take the CPA exam in the future as well. Krista is a member of the National Federation of Paralegals and the Illinois Paralegal Association. In her spare time, Krista has “moonlighted” as a tax professional for a well-known Fortune 500 tax preparation company during the tax season.
Krista leads not only a busy professional life but also enjoys a busy family life. She is married to her husband of 25 years (Rob) and her three children (Lacey 24, Bryce 18 and Karrington 16). She is an active member of the Chrisman American Legion Auxiliary and served as a past President for 3 years. She served as President of the Chrisman Head Start Parent Group and President of the ERBA Policy Council.
Krista loves working with our clients and enjoys assisting them in protecting what is important to them. She is committed to assisting every client with their estate planning and family/business succession planning goals.
Legal Assistant & Administrator
Bonnie is a graduate of Mattoon High School and Lakeland Junior College, where she studied psychology. She moved to Paris after marrying her husband, Terry, in 1994.
In 1995, Bonnie started working for Frisse & Brewster Law Offices bringing with her six years of legal experience. Over the years, Bonnie has become knowledgeable in real estate and estate planning from Wills and Powers of Attorney to more advanced planning such as Revocable Living Trusts.
Bonnie’s greatest joy is her family, which includes four children, seven grandchildren, and one grand-dog. Her family lives throughout Illinois, and she enjoys traveling to visit them, cooking meals together, and spoiling the grandchildren. The grand-dog is particularly spoiled rotten.
Amy A. Jukes is the Medicaid Coordinator for Frisse and Brewster Law Office, LLC. She joined Frisse and Brewster Law Office on December 1, 2008, with 16 years of previous experience working as a legal assistant.
During her prior years of working in a law office, her primary focus was on probate and real estate.
Since joining the Team at Frisse and Brewster Law Office, her primary focus has been serving clients by assisting them through the Medicaid process. She is meticulous and enjoys detail work.
Amy is from the Terre Haute area and is married with two children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends whenever she can.
Kim Finnerty is the Settlement Coordinator for Frisse & Brewster Law Office. Kim joined Frisse & Brewster Law Office on June 1, 2011 with 9 years of legal experience, as well as 15 years of secretarial experience. She is a graduate of West Vigo High School and Indiana State University.
Kim worked as an Executive Legal Secretary for a large part of her career. She also worked as a records manager in a county treasurer’s office.
Kim’s interests are shopping, cooking for her family, reading and bowling.
Andrea M. Oxendine joined Frisse & Brewster Law Offices on December 18, 2013. She is a graduate of Northview High School. She attended Indiana Business College (now Harrison College) where she earned an Associate’s Degree in the Administrative Assistant field.
She brings with her eleven years of banking experience. Of the eleven years, 9 were spent in the Trust Department. The majority of the time, she assisted officers in a secretarial capacity. She then ventured away from the administrative side of things and took a position in the Operations area. She had the opportunity to gain knowledge in both the administrative and operational areas to better prepare her for the position she holds with the firm today.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys reading and watching the Chicago Cubs.
Client Services Coordinator
Marla K. Frazier
Marla K. Frazier joined Frisse & Brewster Law Offices on May 1, 2015. She is the Client Services Coordinator in our Terre Haute Office. She is a graduate of North High School and also attended Macomb Community College in Michigan. She brings to the firm many years of experience working in banking and financial services.
Marla resides in Terre Haute with her husband, Larry. She has a daughter, Sara, and a son, Brad, who reside in Richmond, Virginia. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, visiting her children and spending time with her friends and family. She also has two dogs, Cody and Marley.
